Dean and Alumni Impress the HMH Board Summit

Nutley, N.J. – Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine (HMSOM) graduates Leo Gefter, M.D. (Class of 2019), Catherine Hahn, M.D. (Class of 2018), and Helen Pozdniakova, M.D. (Class of 2018), were interviewed by Jeffrey Boscamp, M.D., president and dean of the medical school, on Oct. 23, 2023, at the Hackensack Meridian Health Board Summit, held this year at Bell Works in Holmdel, N.J.

More than 200 network executives and members of hospital boards and foundations across all of HMH joined our very own Board of Governors to hear from these graduates–all of whom completing their residency training within the HMH network–about their education at the School of Medicine, and how their HMSOM and residency experiences prepared them for their current roles.

“Speaking with Drs. Gefter, Hahn, and Pozdniakova was the best way to have network leaders and supporters truly understand the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine,” said Dr. Boscamp. “Such an informative session onstage allowed these exemplary program ambassadors to give great insight into how we are preparing the next generation of physicians who will change health and healthcare in this country.”
